Each grad receives one-on-one coaching from the College Navigator, plus an EA grad Peer Mentor. Campus visits, phone, text, and video conferencing are conducted throughout the semester to provide real-time support for each student. I had just started a new job, was going to school full time, and becoming a father. It came to the point where I would have 16 hour days trying to make sure that I put my most effort to everything I had to do. There was many points this past year where I felt like I wanted to give up or that I wasn\u2019t ready for the next step coming up. I took a moment to reflect over everything a couple times over the year and realized that what I was doing was more then just myself. I wanted to make my parents proud and I knew that I had to work hard for my family and especially my daughter! I needed to take half the spring semester off in order to step back and analyze everything before I gave up completely. It was also the time for me to take a mental break before continuing and realizing that I still wanted to further my education. As of right now I am taking summer courses and I have set my mind to study a bit more and use my time more on focusing on my classes even working 28+ hours a week.
